Signed and dated
As well as producing drawings to inform paintings, Derrick Greaves also produces much more robust and highly worked charcoals to show at exhibitions. An example of this is Baby, Bath and Dog (1956) where the charcoal is worked into much thicker and darker contours to create a bold form.
